From a 12 oz bottle shared at home. Pours a hazy copper with an off white head. Citrus and pine notes in the nose. Luscious mouthfeel, accentuating the full hop flavors. Lasting bitter finish.

(12 fl oz bottle from a friend) Pours a deep brownish amber with a cream head that fades with a bit of lace. Fruity, malty aroma a bit like a christmas cake with toffee and grain, and a little bit of pine hops. Flavour sweet and fruity malts at first, a little hop bitterness mid-palate hints at pine, and finishes moderately bitter with a grainy aftertaste. Body medium and somewhat sticky, moderate to high carb. Disappointing for an IPA, little hop character and malt-forward - probably not a fresh bottle?

Bottle at home - June ’12. Clear dark copper with a finger of white head. Citrus hops, pine and a little light fruit on the nose. Caramel malt backbone to the taste with a well balanced hop profile, grass, grapefruit and a some citrus. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation with a hoppy bite to finish.

Tap. Pours clear deep amber with a small white creamy head and nice lacing. Aroma is light with grapefruit and a bit of pine. Flavor is grapefruit, pine and a little note of malt. Creamy in the mouth.

Bottle @ home. The march to 4,000 ticks continues at a vigorous pace. A bit hazy, dark orangish brown appearance with a cream colored head. Quite spicy and resiny, piney hoppy, toasted caramel malty, somewhat herbal aroma. Toasty caramel malty, toffee, very spicy, somewhat resiny, lightly charred, herbal, somewhat earthy hoppy flavor. Pretty good, though I’m not sure how fresh this bottle is.

Bottle @ Bishops Arms Skövde. Pours clear dark orange with a creamy offwhite head that slowly dissipates while leaving some trace on the glass. Smell is sweet and hoppy with caramel, grass, orange peal, pine, sweet bread and hints of soap. Taste is sweet and bitter with grass, bread, orange peal, caramel, pine, green peas, rosemary, orange zest and lemon balm. Mouthfeel is round, slightly watery, tiny oily bitter and medium bodied. Finish tiny sweet and bitter with freshly cut grass, oily pine, orange peal and caramel.

Flaske 0,33l på Bistro Trägårn, Kiruna 27 Apr 12. Brun - litt rødskjær. OK luftig skum som fester seg litt til glasset. God humlearoma med innslag av syrlig frukt. Smaken er syrlig frukt med en ok bitter avslutning.

Bottled 355ml. -Dark orange coloured, medium sized off-white head, caramel and citrus in the nose. Moderate malty, very fruity and aromatic hoppy with strong bitter finish and aftertaste. Enjoyable IPA but let’s say I’ve expected even better one.
