many thanks to McTapps! The beer starts fresh and grainy. Not too deep, nice and easy to drink. Fresh grain, moderate bitter and slightly sweetish. A nice Helles!

0.5l bottle and also 0.33l can from marktkauf. "World’s Best Helles/Münchner Lager 2013" according to WBA. pours a clear pale yellow with a small white head and some lacing. malty, bready, strawy. oily texture, some sweetness towards the finish. altogether a well balanced beer. I am usually not a big fan of helles, but this one is very good, even if I prefer their pils better.

Bottle. Clear golden with white head. Light malts and biscuits, herbs, light lemongrass, dough. Light sweet with light to medium bitter finish. Light bodied with slight creamy feel. Nice.

Clear pale golden colour, two finger fgood rothy white head, mostly lasting, fair lacing. Aroma sweet malts, grain, grass, hint of citrus, apple, yeasty. Taste moderate sweetbitter, fruity tones. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, light bitter finish.

(Bottle, Aufsturz, Berlin, 23 July 2014) Pale golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, clean nose with bread, grass and hay. Malty taste with notes of bread, grass, hints of tropical fruit and a balanced bitterness in a finish with a slight sweetness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Fresh and well balanced. Quite enjoyable.

500ml bottle. Filtered yellow tan body beneath a frothy white head. Classic brewhouse boho pils aroma, deep bready malts with spicy noble hop balance. Classic lager. Pretty solid example. The biting hop sharpness and doughy depth of the clean malt is refreshing for my stateside palate, which tastes all too many subpar lagers. Doesn’t blow me away, but an enjoyable beer.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldgelbes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig, getreidig, leicht fruchtig. Geschmack malzig würzig, getreidig, leicht fruchtig.

Bottle, 5.2%. Clear shiny yellow colour. Small white head. Good papery flavour, malty and slightly bready. Hint of floral hop. Good mouthfeel. Low bitterness. Clean and nice.
