22 ounce bottle. A hop bomb that will leave you blind, bleeding and screaming for your mama. Hazy Amber orange with a rocky beige head. Spiderweb lacing. At 100 IBUs, this a lupilin lovers wet dream. Don't drink this one alone.

On tap @ Rattle N Hum. This is a mild blurry looking golden colored one with a nice medium sized just off-white head. Smells really good I have to say. It's one of those melony tropical ones. Peaches, mango, slightly green piney and there's also lots of hops here. Bitter and sweet. Thick oily on the texture and it's just below the on the carbonation. Fresh, piney. Sticky marmalade tones. Really good tasting this. 17.06.2015

Pours slightly hazy burnt orange color with off white head. Aromas of pine, citrus, and tropical fruit with some caramel. Similar flavors with some alcohol. Medium body with average carbonation and a slightly syrupy mouthfeel.

Hazy amber - gold beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is light, smooth and has reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth malts, mildly sweet. Hops bring a pithy citrus. Mild tropical fruits. Spicy orange before a light finish. Nice enough.

On tap at Stanley’s. Pours a clear orange with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has strong pine supported by sweet grains and a bit resin. Flavor combines sweet citrus, pine and resin with slightly sweet and boozy grains supporting.

Bottle from Whole Foods. Pours a clear golden orange hue with a medium white head. A light toast and orange nose. The flavor is sharp sweet citrus, resin, deep hot oranges. A big spicy bite. Very interesting. Comes in with a sharp alcohol heat that is a bit off putting. It’s good no doubt. Butterscotch sweet toasted malts.

Location: 22 oz bottle from Hoboken Vine, 5/24/16

Aroma: The nose is bready, with spice, pine hops, and some rye as well, didn't get much citrus here
Appearance: Murky mostly orange color with a thick, creamy off-white head and coating lace
Flavor: Leans stronger toward the bread / spice up-front, with hop bitterness in the mid-through-close
Palate: Medium-full bodied, a little sticky, a little creamy, and with a strong, heavy dry closure
Overall Impression: This is some pretty solid stuff for a brewery who's hoppy beers I have enjoyed for years. Stronger on the spice side than most IPAs and DIPA, more reminiscent of a Rye DIPA. It's also not the most complex citrus or pine hop aroma or flavor for an IPA, but it's got the bitterness part covered. Pretty nice looking beer with a good mouthfeel, and the flavor is solid too.
