Pours black - tastes black. A bit on the mild side for an I Russian but pretty good nontheless.

very very black as usual for a russian impy. smallt tan head, good lacing. aroma is roasty, but the hops seem to dominate more than anything else. Mouthfeel is vry smooth, the alcohol is hidden very well, no trace of it at all. Flavour is nutty, with alot of hops, and a nice bitter coffeeish finish. Nice impy, but a little too much with the floral hops. the bitterness is there, but the floralness of the hops and the lack of a more robust roasty malt, and coffee flavour takes away from it.

Bottle from Hopt. Aroma is roasted malt, cocoa, dark chocolate, fudge brownie, caramel, with a slight touch of liquorice. Flavour is medium sweet and mildly bitter. Body is medium to full with a fairly creamy feel and texture .Not the world’s biggest Imperial Stout, but just so damn smooth and drinkable.

473ml can. Pours an opaque black with a creamy, long lasting, tan head that leaves curtains of lace. Sweet aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, caramel, tobacco, licorice, earth and coffee. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, licorice, caramel, ash, coffee and grapefruit in a dry, bitter finish. Medium body with a smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation. Delicious, balanced and ABV is well hidden.

16 oz can, 3/7/23. Dark brown with a medium brown head that leaves moderate lace on the glass. Roast and a bit of booze. Earthy / herbal bitterness. There's a bit of a berry thing, and maybe a little raisin / plum thing as well. Finishes a little burnt. Decent.
