This is the finest, purest black cocoa straight from the source: the rugged mountains of Brazil, where chocolate is life. We smuggled these beans back to our brewhouse, where they were blended with creamy milk porter and fragrant Madagascar vanilla beans. Get cocoa'd up.

Pours mahogany tinged black into a shaker. Mocha head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Sweet milk chocolate aromas. Dry with sweet milk chocolate and soy upfront turning to mild pumpernickel in the sharp, medium-length finish.

Sample at the "Post Beer Week Bottle Share" on 06/06/16. Pours a dark brown color with a medium creamy tan head that dissipates steadily to a dense film. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of roast malt, chocolate and coffee. Light to medium body with flavors of roasted malt, cocoa and vanilla coffee. The finish is sweet with a chocolate malt aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Bottle @ home, thanks to homer321. Pours a deep brown / black appearance with a lasting dark brown head. Aroma has chocolate, caramel, fudge, light coffee, vanilla, and a hint of green pepper. Fairly high carbonation. Moderate to moderate plus sweetness. Moderate low bitterness. Fairly well balanced. Plenty of chocolate and dessert notes in the flavor. Pretty good though the carbonation seems to be a little too strong (and no notes of green pepper in the flavor). Fine.

Bottle shared by MisoW in a train. Many thanks! I will borrow the most fitting deScriptor from Cuso - tiramisu. It covers aroma, mouthfeel and taste as well. Excellent. Other than that there is cacao and bold roastiness with a hint of chocolate.
