Bottle at home from the brewery webshop. Very clear blond colour, white bubbly head. Aroma lots of wheat and grain, grassy lemon hops, slight floury mustiness. Taste is hoppy, nice grain, something floral too. Nice bitterness. Slight fruity sweetness too, peach nectar like maybe. Very nice, very easy drinking. Nice and crisp.Earlier Rating: 8/28/2012 Total Score: 3.7Bottle at home. Quite clear light amber/golden colour, small bubbly off-white head that fades quite quickly. Aroma touch of caramel, lightly fruity, lots of maltiness, slightly floral and a touch of spice. Taste is nice and crisp, bit of hoppy bitterness, slightly citrus at the end. Lots of sweet malt, caramel. Very drinkable.

Tap at CBM Jimbocho back in 2014. Light peach and apricot aromas with some wheat and grassy notes. Good carbonation with a medium body. Crisp finish with some fruitiness. Nice. --- Beer merged from original tick of Bijin No Biru (Beautiful Beer) on 16 Feb 2016 at 22:20

Draught at the brewpub. This may be a different beer than what earlier raters have tried. It is now basically a replacement for their Helles. Slightly dark golden color with a thin, fine head. Nice biscuit malt aroma, low hops, very rich malt. Sweet, malty flavor. Low hops yet retrained sweetness. A good authentic helles. Proper palate with a nice dry finish and just enough hops.
