Bottle. Deep brown pour, beige head. Nose is roasted malts, slight earthy character, faint fruity touch. Taste is roasted malts and earth mainly, with some coffee, rather plain really. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. Bit of a meh.

330 mL bottle. Pours black, with a small, tan head. The nose is dark chocolate, nutty sherry, almond, espresso, and butter toffee. Sweet and roasty, with a mild, earthy bitterness. Medium to heavy body, syrupy, and hard. Balanced and tasty.
