Aroma: roasted, slightly smoke, wine, a bit of smoke, bird cherry, malt. Taste: caramel, dried fruits, roasted, porto.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 20A, adapted). Bottle 33 cl - Batch 16012018 (BBF 10.2018). AROMA: medium acidic aroma with a faint roasted malt background. APPEARANCE: dark color and opaque with slight ruby highlights. large brown head with good retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with medium-high acidic flavor. medium-low roasted malt flavor (dark chocolate). medium to medium-high bitterness from roasted malts. finishes acidic and slightly roasted. PALATE: medium-light body. excessive carbonation. OVERALL: an imperial porter with signs of lactic contamination.
