Tap at Watering Hole. Mugi-cha-like nose with some minerals, lemon, straw and lemongrass notes. Average carbonation with a light body. Almost like a minerally South African sauvignon blanc. Finish is bone dry. Not bad. --- Beer merged from original tick of #071 Hatopoppo Adlay Session IPA on 26 Feb 2016 at 19:20 - Score: 7. Original review text: Like mugi-cha...grassy hops, lemon, straw....good carbonation, light body

Tap at bungalow. Lemony nose, light stone fruit, orange, apricot, light crackery malt. Medium golden color, hazy, with a fine head. Nicely hoppy flavor, grapefruit, a touch of passion fruit. Light malt. Ok Sweetness and a bit of minerals. Crisp and bitter finish. Good session beer.

Kara age and ビアバー うしとら -Beer Bar Ushitora-’s #71 Adlay Session IPA 3.7% at Beer Komachi
It pours a cloudy gold with a nice hop bouquet, I think some of the herbal character comes from mugwort or something. The taste is lemon, musty herbs and pine on a very light body that’s a bit too thin as usual from Ushitora these days. Decent flavor though it’s got a bit of a lemon dish soap character to it.
