This American-hopped IPA marries a bold and complex hop character of pine, citrus and spice with fruity notes and a crisp finish created by our Kölsch yeast.

A slight hazed blonde IPA with fantastic aromas of spicy fine, resinous hop character, and citrus fruit. Balanced flavor between the American hops and our German Kölsch yeast strain provides a very unique backdrop for the hops to interact.

Draught at Hops ’n Headz, Bellingham, WA
Blond color, hazy. Although defined as ipa, this one to me seems like an American hopped Helles; the malt profile is light, crackery, a bit wheaty, interesting; over it, the bitterness is strong, with hop resins, not much fruit.
Interesting crossover, and a very good beer all-round.

Canned. Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is citrus, grass, some floral and fruity notes along with mild bready notes. Flavour is citrus, some mild spices and herbs along with toffee and bready notes. Nice grassy and floral aftertaste. Easy to drink, and doesn’t feel like 6.5 %.

Clear medium golden colour, tall foamy off-white head, good retention and lacing. Aroma fruity (tropical fruits, orange, lemon), light pine, grass, floral. Smooth taste, medium sweet and bitter, fruity, pale malts, spicy notes. Nice bittersweet aftertaste, floral and grassy hops, light peppery touch. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. All in all a very pleasant and drinkable ipa.

Can. Clear pale gold with an inch of white head. Aroma is rather wizened with weedy, spicy and plastic packaging notes along with the sweeter end of grapefruit. But there’s some nice bready malt to fill out the modest fruity flavours and they go well together. Dryish at the end with moderate bitterness. Even discounting the rather mean aroma this is only fair.

Decent easy drinkable IPA.
Clear golden color with a white head. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium (+) body and an ok carbonation. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Citric, toffee, fruity and resinous flavor.

12 oz can, poured a couple days after the suggested enjoy by date. That being said, it still seems very much fine to me, but I’ll get a fresh can and rerate someday anyway. Pours a clear golden color with plenty of foam head. Aroma is no shortage of fruity hops, and flavor as well. Delivers in it’s crisp promise. Comes off as a light, sessionable beer with a fruit hop headliner. Pretty good.

355ml can from Beer Gonzo. Yellow golden colour, frothy white foam head leaving lots of lacing and aroma of lemon-lime, juicy hop. Taste is malt caramel with tropical fruit passionfruit, and orange citrusy spicy hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Sampled from a 12 oz can this beer poured a vibrant yellow color with an enormous creamy yellow-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was sweet citrus, a bit tart and a bit perfumey. The flavor was dryish, peppery, floral and perfumey. Long finish. Medium body. Ok.

Victory Vital IPA 6.5% A new release from Victory I believe that pours a nice looking copper-gold with a creamy head of foam. The aroma exemplifies the new bread of aromatic and sweeter IPAs with juicy hops giving citrus & tropical fruits hoppiness. Fairly full bodied with a candyish sweetness with mild fruit notes then a more generic bitterness and some bready malt character. Nice enough but the aroma gives a minor wow while the flavor is more run of the mill. Decent though. Actually, as you keep drinking the fruity hoppiness starts to have a cumulative effect making this brew grow on me.
