This American-hopped IPA marries a bold and complex hop character of pine, citrus and spice with fruity notes and a crisp finish created by our Kölsch yeast.
A slight hazed blonde IPA with fantastic aromas of spicy fine, resinous hop character, and citrus fruit. Balanced flavor between the American hops and our German Kölsch yeast strain provides a very unique backdrop for the hops to interact.

Can. Clear golden body with a medium white head. Average carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of lemon, honey and grass. Flavour of pine, red apple, straw and lemon. Medium body with an oily texture. Light fizz. Nice, but a touch too sweet for me.

Can from Tanakaya. Pours a clear straw gold with a finger and half of white foam. Iyokan and orange zest on the nose with some light grassy notes. Average carbonation with a medium body that feels light and drinkable. Bitter on the palate with lots of resin and pine, more iyokan. Nice enough, but pretty basic IPA. --- Beer merged from original tick of Victory Vital IPA on 08 Mar 2016 at 20:59 - Score: 7. Original review text: Iyokan and orange. Piney bitterness in the nose. Average but solid.

Can: Lemongrass nose, not strong. Hazy yellow, medium head, nice lacing. Overripe lemon, lemongrass. Full body, a little warm for what it is, easy carbonation.

330ml can @ The Vaults, Shrewsbury. Pours clear gold. White head. Aroma is pleasantly fruity. Taste is juicy, well-balanced tropical fruits. Some floral meadow action. Decent drinkable stuff.

Can from Boise Co-op. Pale golden pour, tons of fine carbonation, keeping fluffy head alive. Malt/grain prominent on nose, also in flavor. I’m tasting a great pils, a so-so session IPA, and a pretty weak East Coast IPA. Looks great, tastes good, but not an IPA.

Can. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is airy, mildly dry and has decent fine carbonation. Thin creamy sweetness in the malts Hops are mildly spicy. Orange and nice marmalade. Touch of resin. Sweet lemony tropical fruits. Modest bitterness on the smooth finish. Nice.

Can. Pours like a crappy lagger... fizzy head on a light gold body... looks like a sudsy Bud Lite. Aromas of slightly skunky hops with a bit of a sticky honey presence. I’m a little unsure at this point as to what is going on here. Flavor is cloying honey with a soapy hops presence that just doesn’t work, especially when IPA is on the can. I am pretty disappointed in this one.
