Bottle from a trade with UDbeernut. Pours slightly hazy burnt orange color with off white head. Big citrusy aroma. Grapefruit and orange flavors with some caramel sweetness. Medium to full body with moderate carbonation. Excellent. Thanks Art.

What a description, will not make me like it any better. On tap at the madmex. stronger sweet volatile aroma. looks like clear pale ale. Taste is alky strong, wew, even for a 9%. Does not hide the alky trying to get in yer face. Long bitter medicinal finsh, terribly on style.

Draft at Taps 25, Lansing. Hazy medium orange-brown body, thin cream head. Nose and body of pulpy grapefruit rind, bitter and sweet but not syrupy or cloying. Alcohol noticeable. Solid beer, not a standout.

12 oz bottle. Pours a moderately hazy orange amber with an off-white head. On the aroma, lots of tropical fruit pours out, mixed with citrus and leading into pine resin and notes of grain. Flavor still has the tropical, citrus, and pine notes, but it’s somewhat more low key with the grain definitely present as well. Quite good, though.

Bottle pour to snifter. Slightly sour aroma. Not a hop bomb; slight sweet, malty taste; very smooth, very . . . Excellent!

On draught at Yabo’s, The beer pours a cloudy dark orange-gold color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily. Rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of grapefruit, hops and roast malt. Medium to full-bodied with a moderately bitter hops character and notes of citrus and tropical fruits, toasted malt and a touch of pine. The finish is hoppy with a lingering grapefruit aftertaste. Overall this is an enjoyable beer that has a lot of different things going on, yet work together.

Tap. This shit is tasty. Pours clear reddish amber with a small off-white head and nice lacing. Color has me worried that this is going to end up a sweet hopped up amber ale. Aroma is grapefruit, spruce, tropical fruits - verrryyy nice. Flavor is lightly (but only lightly) sweet, medium bitterness that actually fades rather than builds on the finish. Medium body and a creamy/oily mouthfeel, as if the hop oils are coating the tongue. This is a good beer.

Pizzeria Paradiso, Georgetown tap: Pours an orange color with a white head. Aroma is citrus, peach, and other fruits backed up by a slightly caramelish malt backbone. Taste is rather hoppy, while not being overly bitter. Got some rez. Medium body. Somewhat sweet. Good DIPA.

Draft at Churchkey. Poured a cloudy, creamy looking orange color with a solid off-white head. Aroma was plenty of sweet grapefruit notes, tropical fruit juice, mangos, with some light caramel and yeasty dough notes underneath the floral notes. Flavor was a blast of citrus, plenty of hoppy goodness in this one. Notes of resin in there. Very drinkable, with the alcohol hidden so extremely well that I was surprised at the ABV when finished.

Pours a golden yellow-amber with midlevel head. Aroma is very fruity--some mango and sweet citrus is evident. Flavor is citrus, floral, and tropical fruit. Finish is quite sweet. Pretty well-balanced beer and quite tasty.
