Sample at the Northeastern Brewery (ME/MA) Tasting on 08/09/2015. Cloudy straw color with a medium foamy white head that recedes gradually to a film. Short stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, fruit and malt. Light to medium body with flavors of pineapple, citrusy hops and biscuit malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a lingering fruity hops aftertaste. Solid IPA overall.

On tap at Novare Res, Portland, Maine. A hazy, pale yellow golden beer with a dense, white head. The aroma is very piney and grapefruity, with pale malts in the back. It’s pleasantly bitter on the palate, dry and pleasantly carbonated. Grapefruit, pine cones and some flowery hints. Lasting bitter and grapefruit finish. Quenching and tasteful. 160609
