Dölps Odenwälder Apfelwein wird überwiegend aus den vollreifen, knackigen Äpfeln des Odenwaldes gekeltert. Wie es seit Jahrhunderten Tradition ist, wird er geschwefelt und nach altem Hausrezept hergestellt – mit Mineralwasser gespritzt, im Bembel serviert und aus dem Gerippten getrunken, ist er eine Erfrischung nicht nur an heißen Sommertagen.

Bottle, 5.5%. Clear golden with no head. Aroma is apple, juice and sulfur. Flavour is apple, juice, apple peel, medium sweet, little sulfur, little tart and a little citric.

Bottle @ Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering, fonefan. No head. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are sweet green apples, fruit juice and has a nice dry finish.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Clear yellow without head. Aroma is apple juice. Flavor is medium sweet. Light dry finish. Short finish. 200816

Pale in the glass, fruity in the nose. No carbonation. The cider starts as smooth as the unfiltered version, but not as tart and aroma-full. Smooth, sour-tart, fruity apples, but all a bit subtle. The aftertaste is smooth, long, not really watery, but there is not much deepness in aroma. On the tongue remains a tart, fruity and tend-to-watery apple aroma. --> 9/12/9/9
