Los Chaskis eran los mensajeros que recorrían todo el imperio incaico con energía y potencia que solo podrían recuperar con una cerveza artesanal como esta, hecha con poderosas maltas tostadas que le dan sabores a café y chocolate oscuro.

Pours dark brown with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, caramel, chocolate and cocoa. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long chocolate, cocoa, caramel, and hint of coffee finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle, courtesy of Meilby’s mom. Close to black in the glass, with a dense, finger-thick dark beige head leaving lacing. The aroma is rather roasted, with caramel sauce notes, Coffee too. It’s dry and full- to medium-bodied, softly carbonated and quite dry. Roasted malts, coffee, some caramel and bread crust and a nice hoppy bitterness in the flavor. Long roasted malts dominated finish. Sure a fine brew. 151124
