Draft @ Bishops Arms Gustav, Malmö. Pours a clear copper amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty floral hoppy aroma. Slightly sweetish malty caramel hoppy flavor. Has a sweetish malty caramel hoppy finish.

Bottle. Chestnut brown in colour, with a decent, beige head and plenty of carbonation. Brown sugar sweetness, some red berries, a hint of nuttiness, hoppy kick and very booz finish. Good, but not a beer I would rush to drink again.

Refrigerated stubby brown bottle poured into a glass. Clear light brown. Aroma is caramel malt, medium body, medium/low carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is caramel malt.

(Bottle, 0.355 l, at William K. Kurvi, 20150705) The beer poured deep reddish brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, caramel and fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, sweetness, fruitiness, caramel and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, malty and bitter. A tasty malty brew.

Bottle bought @ Systembolaget. Pours clear deep golden with a rather big creamy goldenish beige head that leaves lots of sticky trace and lacing on the glass while dissipating. Smell is malty, tiny fruity and floral with caramel, grapefruit, moist grass, pine needles, lilacs and lemon zest. Taste is sweet, bitter, malty, tiny fruity and floral with caramel, sweet bread, grapefruit, mango, moist grass, pine needles, chives, alcohol and lemon zest. Mouthfeel is round, tiny sticky sweet, slightly boozy, tiny astringent and medium to full bodied. Finish is sweet and bitter with caramel, grapefruit, mango, moist grass, pine needles, alcohol and lemon zest. Decent US barley wine.
