This beer is intended to be a sensory assault for hop lovers. With four hop additions during the brew process and a final wallop of excessive Columbus dry-hopping, this beer is meant to say one thing: MORE HOPS! It was was born at the crossroads, in a juke joint, as if Dale’s Pale Ale sold its soul to balance Deviant’s foreboding aromas of citrus, grapefruit rind and piney resins with a copper ball-of-fire color and inscrutable finish.

Can from Vino Wines. Hazy orange body with a thick off-white head that quickly fades. Excellent lacing. Slightly sickly aroma of honey and lemon throat sweets, pine, orange and peach. Flavour of hop burps, Lockets and a slightly minty finish. Medium body with an oily texture. Light fizz. Far too sweet for my liking - give me a sharp, bitter IPA over this sickly honeyed IPA every time.

16 oz can pour. Pours a dark copper color with a big foamy head. A lot of pine in the aroma and flavor. Mild citrus flavors. Has a toasty bready flavor as well. Very smooth all throughout. Flavorful, refreshing IPA. Easy drinking. Really enjoyed this.

Pours a copper-reddish gold, with smallish head. Aroma is grassy and pine hops. Flavor is very spicy, peppery pine hops, with a bitter finish.

Can, Brew Dog.com. Vivid copper pour with a small off-white head. Ace nose of ganja, piney hop and tropical fruits. Superb hop blast in the flavour with a solid sweet malt spine. Fullish mouthfeel, abv well smothered and spot-on bitterness. Can’t fault it. Oskar Blues make the best canned beers I have come across thus far.

out of a can..hazy redish orange with a dense firm off-white head that is very persistent. Full up-front citrus resinous aroma and flavor. Very full bodied, slick and chewy. Big piney hop flavor from beginning to end with a little ABV burn. Plenty of bitterness but not a bomb. Every aspect is a big player and they are all complimentary. Big and balanced. Wonderfull

From a 473ml can on 25/12/2013. Pours a very cloudy dark orange with a smallish head which disappears quickly. Has a really big hoppy nose - fruity, floral and resiny, with a touch of caramel. The flavour is very big too. There is a lovely caramel malt background, with a good dose of sweet citrus and stone fruit (orange, apricot, peach) and marmalade, which is needed to temper the massive dry, lingering grapefruity hops. The body is relatively full and the carbonation lowish to average. The balance here is just outstanding. Lovely complex, yet subtle sweetness, set off against and a magnificent puckering hop bitterness. Tastes as big as a lot of imperials. Fantastic. Rating 4.4. Re-rate on 8/11/2014. Even better the second time round. I’m an IPA fiend and this is one of the finest of the style you’ll ever found. Truly magnificent.

Can. Clear amber body. Frothy, white head. Aroma of toasted grain, caramel pine, resin with a hint of raw grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately bitter, the bitterness lingering past the finish. Medium body, watery/velvety texture, lively carbonation. Seems overly grainy, with almost vegetable aroma in the background. Muted hop flavor profile though it does have plenty of bitterness.

On tap in a snifter at the Brass Tap in Round Rock. Hazy deep amber with a generous off white head. Nose is pine and floral hops and grapefruit. Nice balanced start with tangerine notes and a short bitter dry finish. Medium light body with average carbonation. Great easy drinking beer.
