This beer is intended to be a sensory assault for hop lovers. With four hop additions during the brew process and a final wallop of excessive Columbus dry-hopping, this beer is meant to say one thing: MORE HOPS! It was was born at the crossroads, in a juke joint, as if Dale’s Pale Ale sold its soul to balance Deviant’s foreboding aromas of citrus, grapefruit rind and piney resins with a copper ball-of-fire color and inscrutable finish.

Keg @ Brewdog Sheffield. Pours copper with white head. Hoppy of course, lots of grapefruit, pine and resinous qualities with a touch of bitterness. Very decent American IPA, nicely balanced and drinkable for the ABV.

On tap at the bocktown. Has a pleasant mildly sweet perfumey aroma. Clear brown yellah. Intriguing smell. Wew, fromt the start this is a lick on the jaw then a kik in the back of the throat, wew, quite difficult and dull from a lagar lovers point of view. mouth coating happy IPA BS. Cannot appreciate. Terribly on style, may be a double.

Clear amber colour, white head. Resiny aroma, weed, pine, broken twigs. Bitter resiny flavour, green twigs, caramel, bitter tea leaves, chamomile, elderflower. Rather light body for the abv, bitter herbal finish. Interesting ipa.

50cl can shared by Martinus. Clear orange amber color, medium sized beige head. Aroma is malts, lightly resin, caramel and something really weird: meaty, plant and tea-like. After a while that weird aroma disappears, but there’s still some of it in the taste. Weird one, very weird. Expected it to be better.
