This beer was developed through extensive experimentation by our brewers with different combinations of fruits and spices. The base beer is Basis which was inspired by the traditional brewing methods of Belgium lambic brewing.

Revive is a tart, tropical, and refreshing blond sour ale. Aromas of pineapple and herbal chamomile are followed by tart and tropical flavors after aging in wine barrels for 3-4 months.

Draft. Amber beer with a cream head. Strange cookie dough aroma. Cookie dough and oak flavor with sourness. Medium bodied. Cookies and sourness linger with light acetic notes, light lemon, and light tropical fruit.

Hazy and light tan. No head. On the nose, pineapple, some random spices like clove...any chamomile...can't say no but can't say yes. The pineapple is strong, but so is the acetic, and I think there's a touch of spice in there as well.

500mL bottle, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is loaded with pineapples upfront, with a touch of chamomile. Flavour is along the same lines, with a prominent mix of pineapple and chamomile tea. Well, this is as advertised - I just don't get what the point of this is. Lacking complexity, with an earthy, pineapple-y finish. Fun, but this isn't an elegant sour.

500 ml bottle into tulip glass, bottled in 8/2017. Pours slightly hazy pale golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin spotty lace cap that lingers. Slight spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big sweet/juicy pineapples, chamomile, cinnamon, clove, floral, lemon, lime, red/green apple, peach, apricot, mango, melon, berries, white wine, oak, hay, straw, herbal, and grass; with lighter notes of pepper, funk, wheat, cracker, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/acidic yeast, pineapples, chamomile, wine barrels, and light-moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big sweet/juicy pineapples, chamomile, cinnamon, clove, floral, tart/sour lemon, lime, red/green apple, peach, apricot, mango, melon, berries, white wine, oak, hay, straw, herbal, and grass; with lighter notes of pepper, funk, oaken vanilla, wheat, cracker, and yeast earthiness. Moderate fruity/lactic sourness; light wine/fruit tang, and yeast/oak spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of pineapples, chamomile, cinnamon, clove, floral, tart/sour lemon, lime, red/green apple, peach, apricot, mango, melon, berries, white wine, oak, hay, straw, herbal, grass, pepper, funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, pineapples, chamomile, wine barrels, and light-moderate pale malt flavors; with a nice malt/tart/sourness balance. Bit of increasing pucker through the glass, but not astringent. Moderate increasing dryness from tart/sourness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, acidic/tangy/tannic, and fairly grainy mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 6%. Overall this is an awesome fruited sour blonde ale. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, pineapples, chamomile, wine barrels, and light-moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and easy to drink; even with the very lactic/tangy/tannic/drying finish. Outstanding balance of the Brett/Lacto, fruit, chamomile, and wine barrels; with a solid pale/wheat malt backbone. Quite heavy on the lactic acid, but not overwhelming. A really enjoyable offering.
