This beer was developed through extensive experimentation by our brewers with different combinations of fruits and spices. The base beer is Basis which was inspired by the traditional brewing methods of Belgium lambic brewing.
Revive is a tart, tropical, and refreshing blond sour ale. Aromas of pineapple and herbal chamomile are followed by tart and tropical flavors after aging in wine barrels for 3-4 months.

Stubby 500ML? from AFH! Thanks dude. Lambic fruit FTW. split 2 ways, cellar temp. a slightly hazy dark orange beer. no head. smells like tequila pina colada. Spritzy carb but fades quickly to a slick oily nothing. leaves a toasted coconut and oily crisco mouthfeel. up front, I guess pineapple;? but honestly more coconut. vanilla, ginger root.

Bottle from wine tree east. Pours a clear gold with a finger of foam that dissipates quickly. Big lychee nose with kiwi and passion fruit dominating. Slight yogurt flavor on the palate with tons of fruit, cinnamon, & chamomile. Good tartness but also with some creaminess that balances it out. Quite good. --- Beer merged from original tick of Revive on 12 May 2017 at 23:13 - Score: 8. Original review text: Big lychee nose with kiwi and passion fruit dominating. Bottled September 2016, drunk 4/1/17.
Brassy-golden body shows good clarity and a beige-flecked, off-white head atop with moderate retention.
Fruity, playful Brett in the nose is quickly consumed by a much more strong lactic character, as light oak/wood notes and peachy-nectarine-like fruit juice notes quickly up the intensity. On the very end, the chamomile is noted and while itβs not overdone, it stands apart from the rest of the beer and, I donβt think, adds anything whatsoever. Some light guava and pineapple reprise on the finish, with a pretty deep funky, barnyard character and no alcohol or flaw.
In the mouth itβs dry, well-carbonated and engaging with a softly-malty texture and light traces of honey-like sweetness. Flavors wax and wane between tropical, bright, juicy Brett and stronger, more austere lactic acidity and oak. Chamomile, all the while, is lightly noted on the finish of every sip and really seems completely out-of-place to me. Stone fruit-like juicy and tart acids are well-integrated in to the beer. No alcohol or flaw. Very competent, though still seems like most other American sours; not sure the lambic moniker here.

Milk and Hops, NYC tap: pours golden with no head. Aroma is light tea, very much fruitiness, all sorts of tue funk. Taste is fairly sour. Very fruity. Sort of buttery aftertaste. Weird and good.

Bottle. Pours a clear yellow gold with a white head that dissipates nearly completely. Aroma has a strong chamomile note with a strong tart pineapple note and a light wine barrel backing. Flavor starts with a good amount of chamomile that is joined by tart pine apple and a white barrel note in the finish.

Bottle: Slightly hazy, light yellow-gold with a white ring. Lemon, pineapple, chamomile aroma.....a touch of vinegar. Acidic, tart pineapple, grain malt. Nicely tart and sweet. Really good, biting, stuff.

Draft. Pineapple, chamomile, malt, and light vinegar aroma. Cloudy pale yellow with small head. Moderate sweet-tart pineapple, chamomile, light malt, and mildly bitter straw flavor. Nice body and balance. Very pleasant.
