Bourbon Barrel-Aged Scotch Ale
Expect lovely, warm smells of single malt scotch, oaky bourbon barrels, smoke, sweet caramel and roasted malts, a bit of earthy spice, and a scintilla of dark fruit. It’s a kick-back sipper made to excite the palate.

2016 bottle from Stone in Asagaya. Pours a pretty, chestnut brown with a finger of foam. Lots of cacao, caramel, and a touch of peated whisky and vanilla. Easy drinking on the palate. Very smooth with a touch of oaky bourbon, almost silky on the palate. Nice coating finish that lingers. Not overly sweet with a lingering bourbon character. Awesome.
