0.355 l bottle from ’De Bierkoning’, 2015 vintage (best before September 2017). Clear, very dark red to black with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, brown head. Sweetish, slightly roasty, fruity-malty aroma of raisins, dates, overripe banana, dark chocolate and almond. Sweetish, slightly roasty, fruity-malty taste of overripe banana, raisins, dark chocolate, coffee and nuts, followed by a short, roasty and slightly bitter finish with more dark chocolate and coffee. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice winter/christmas beer, although a bit faint and not too complex.
