The Duck-Rabbit Milk Stout is a traditional full-bodied stout brewed with lactose (milk sugar). Because lactose is unfermentable by brewer’s yeast, it remains in the beer. The subtle sweetness and fullness of flavor imparted by this sugar balances the sharpness of the highly roasted grains that give this delicious beer its black color. All year long, Milk Stout is our number one selling beer!

A dark brown stout with a super thick brown head. In aroma, a nice sweet chocolate, molasses, light fusel alcohol, wood extract. In mouth, a super sweet stout with light coffee, caramel, quite nice. On tap at Twin City Brewfest August 13 2011.

12oz bottle. Top notch Milk Stout. 5 for appearance right off the bat, the rusty beige head is unstoppable, never fades away. Creamy and silky smooth body. Almost captures a deep, creamy, milky feel, as opposed to typical sugary pungency. Could fall under Cream Stout. Simply phenomenal. The best Milk Stout I can imagine.

bottle from ølbutikken pitch dark, small smooth brown and light brown head. Very roasted aroma, roasted malts, roasted cofee, dark caramel, some hoppy bitterness. flavor is sweet malty, milky, sweet caramelly, much milder than the aroma, the end is however, heavily roasted, charchoal, roasted malts, roasted coffee. Huge change in flavor from start to finish of a sip. aftertaste is almost pure roasted notes.

Hazy, very dark brown with a lasting tan head. Aroma of toffee, chocolate, dark caramel and capuccino. Sweet roasted flavour with coffee and dark chocolate. I like the roasted character, but it’s a bit too sweet
