Smoked porter with roasted jalapenos peppers. Just a bit of smoked malt plus the addition of pre-roasted jalapenos to the boil give this beer a subtle roasted pepper finish.

Holy smokes at the jalapeno on the nose. Heavy on the smoked pepper notes, not so much on the porter. Hints of chocolate, raisin, and char, but this beer's all about the jalapeno, dominating the fore- and mid-palate with vegetal notes and then leaving a noticeable spiciness on the fade. Not bad, but thin and a bit one-note.

Draft at Craft Brewed for Half Batch event. Pours a deep brown to black with a finger of foam that dissipates quickly. Light coffee and cacao nib nose. Well-rounded roasty flavors...espresso, cocoa powder. Peppery hops on the finish w/ some chili. Very nice, definitely my fave of the night.
