Prairie Noir is our whiskey barrel aged imperial oatmeal stout. We brew this beer with a huge amount of oats to give it an ever so silky mouth feel. Notes of coffee, chocolate, and toasted marshmallow can be found in the flavor and aroma of this beer. Notes of whiskey and caramel are also packed into this beer.

Bottle, quite old. Lovely vanilla, chocolate, caramel, light coffee nose. Sweet caramel and vanilla, roasted coffee malts, bourbon barrel very evident. A bit flat now after all these years but still excellent.

Always a winner. Tons of dark fruit, cacao, berry, coconut and vanilla. Whisky run amuck. Fruity and chocolate with whisky throughout.
