We’ve partnered with Bavaria’s Weihenstephan, the world’s oldest brewery, for this American take on the classic German Oktoberfest. A malt backbone is balanced by subtle hop character in this crisp, clean, and drinkable crowd-pleaser. Nothing captures the spirit of celebration like a beer among friends.

Bottle at home. Clear light amber hued beverage small head. Nose is light caramel and dried fruit. Tastes of pale malt, caramel, touch fruity, grass. Crisp palate and clean profile. Touch spice on finish. Quite nice

I located a single 12 oz bottle at the pick-your-sixpack in HEB this morning. Let’s put it to test right away. Poured into an ABGB snifter, Oktoberfest delivers a clear, gold-orange body with a fast disappearing head of fine, white bubbles. The scent is the expected, grain, malt with a hint of floral perhaps. The taste, more of the grain, toffee slightly, some hoppiness. Not ground breaking but better than most I have tried.

From a 12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear copper with a quickly dissipating off white head. Aromas of fruit and dough. Flavors are moderately sweet malt. Smooth and refreshing.

This was really good. Lightly sweet malt, a hint or caramel. Soft palate. Dry malt flavors mistly, some hint of malt sugar.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a dark orange-amber color with a large foamy orange-white head that left great lacing. The aroma was tart pear and apple. The flavor was tart with perfume, apple, pear, honey and a vegetal malt note. Medium length finish with lingering perfume. Medium body.

Draught. Light amber with white head. Malt caramel aroma with a larger hop presence than usual. Malty body, malt backbone and body with a hop skin. Long finish.

Bottle from Brewers Haven. Deep, rich golden color, one finger foamy head, fades to nothing. Deep grainy aroma, hints of butterscotch. Taste is full, bready, minor yeast notes, caramel, coupled with a creamy feel. Lingering sweetness at the finish.

Bottle thanks to Phil. Pourd a copper gold with small white head that lasts. The aroma is spice and wet biscuit. Slick body, toasted malt, corn, light finish, good.

Stubby bottle, rich deep pale golden color. Smells like an aged old country lager. First taste is prost! Yes, perhaps a little stronger indah alky department, from what was expected. A little medicinal in the middle yet holds its place. Keeps its carbonation constant throughout the session; thank you. Not bad, not over the top, just a little strong on the brain, heheh. Finishes with a wallop of just plain old good beer.
