Reviewed from notes.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: black in the pour and black in the glass with a finger's worth of eggshell white foamy head which took it's time to dissipate and once it did light lace clung to the glass
Aroma: big roasty coffee tones and grapefruity to mixed citrusy hops, light sweet wafer malt backbone
Flavor: melds the prior noted aromas together in a roasty to vibrant hoppy bitter quality; finishes the same way
Texture: medium bodied, surely a sipper; light smoothness and the usual palate wrecking capabilities of a black IPA swooping in to slay the tongue
Overall: very nicely done black IPA I wouldn't mind coming back to.

Very solid DIPA, of the American kind. Hop juicy that just happens to be black, not just another name for export porter. Coffee, roasty and a good dose of hops. Grapefruity fruitness.

Dank tropical fruit nose: mango, citrus and passionfruit aromas. Creamy on the palate, light cocoa. More tropical fruit on the finish. Solid
