Draft at J's. Said something about this being a California Common but was just way too boozy, so I'm rating this one here. Pours a crystal clear, deep gold with a full finger of white foam that lingers. Sweet vanilla cream, boozy heat, caramel, toffee and butterscotch aromas dominate. Lots of booze on the palate, strong bitterness with lots of floral notes. Honey, caramel and toffee on the palate. Very sweet and boozy with a big bitter finish. Not for me.
