Dark brown- chestnut colored, clear, small beige ring. Aroma is sweet, malt, caramel, toffee, nutty, toast, brown sugar, dried fruits, whisky barrel with a bit of alcohol. Taste is very sweet malt, caramel and toffee with brown sugar, nuts, dried fruits, light+ herbal bitterness, whisky oak, some alcohol with warmth. Full bodied, soft carbonation, sticky. Very nice but also quite sweet. (bottle, Who Cares Festival, Bevog Brewery)

Huge thanks to Iznogud and Werckmeister for sharing the bottle! Drank at the Who Cares for Beer Festival 2016, Bevog Brewery in Bad Radkersburg, Austria. Roasty malts and caramel, dry fruits, brown sugar, whisky barrel, alcohol. Sweet with whiskey-like malty flavors. Oily texture, light finish.

35cl bottle. Dark caramel brown with a very thin beige head. Aroma includes whiskey, milk chocolate, toffee, bourbon and vanilla. The taste is very smooth and balanced, with notes of whiskey, bourbon, oak, vanilla, toffee, caramel, milk chocolate, maple syrup and molasses. The alcohol is very well hidden, only noticeable in the aftertaste. Super smooth mouthfeel with very low carbonation and a milk chocolate sweet aftertaste. Right up my alley, thank you, Prairie Artisan Ales. --- Beer merged from original tick of Okie on 11 Feb 2017 at 00:11 - Score: 8

Bottle. Dark brown pour. Delicious aroma of bourbon vanilla, ripe fruit, mild smooth booze and subtle caramel. Nice taste of smooth bourbon vanilla, chocolate, ripe red fruit, caramel, raisin, mild oak, caramelised malt and a long bourbony, mildly burning finish. Fantastic.

Bottle. Pours cloudy copper brown with small off-white head. Clear aroma of caramel malt and fruit with notes of malt and barrel and touches of yeast. Sweet flavour of caramel malt and fruit and vanilla. Lingering, sweetish and barrellike aftertaste. Decent but rather potent.

Bottle, 12%. Distinct oaked aroma, vanilla and some butterscotch. Cloudy red brown colour. Very small off-white head. The flavour also has a lot of vanilla, some butterscotch. A little alcohol, but by no means too much.

Bottle, 355ml. An unclear dark reddish brown beer with a small, beige head. Roasted malts, alcohol, vanilla, wood notes, molasses notes and brown sugar in the aroma. Some cocoa. Vanilla, alcohol, raisins, chocolate, brown sugar and molasses in the flavor. A decent bitterness too, dealing with the sweetness present. Lasting finish with a good deal of sweetness and vanilla. A pretty intense beer for sure, but really tasteful too. 151231
