Our first dark beer is bold and flavorful, yet smooth and crisp in the classic Sapporo fashion. Sapporo Premium Black is crafted with roasted dark malts and a refined hop bitterness that is complemented by a sweet, round fullness and distinct coffee and chocolate flavors.
Sapporo Premium Black is well-suited for pairing with a variety of hearty and spicy dishes from around the world, including traditional German, Asian, Cajun and Latin cuisines and crème brûlée. Or it can stand on its own for those who appreciate a bold, robust-flavored beer.

Can 0,65 ltr: Black coloured brew with an tasty dry bitter taste with hints of roasted malts, some coffee and something like cola. Bought it at Amazing Oriental, Den Haag-Ypenburg. And yes this beer is made in Vietnam, like many ratings here.

26/10/2024. Can bought at a random supermarket in Fukuoka. Pours black with a small frothy off-white beige head. Aroma is roasted, malty, coffee, chocolate, liquorice, caramel. Medium sweetness, moderate roasted bitterness. Medium body, smooth, bit above average carbonation. Finish was clammy which was a detractor but this is pretty decent for a mass market brew.

Man I could have sworn I rated this years ago, but I guess not! First beer rating after the Milton endurance. This is a big tall 22 ounce can from beer world largo. Pour is big and black with a nice tan head that fades in a minute. Good attractive dark beer mildly burnt nose. At first this comes across as an easy to drink dark lager. Its quite civilized up front. Liking this initially. Not bad in the middle either. Good tones of dark lager mildy burnt old damp campfire wood. Mild carbonation. However, that burnt bitterness really starts to increase and get on my nerves as the session continues; its oddly starting to show some baltic character. That burnt bitter bite increases into the finish. Ends with an almost rude attitude but remains palatable. Decent brew tasting experience.

Lichte body. Degelijk.

50cl can as Sapporo premium black 5% brewed in vietnam Bought from my local kiosk. pours brown with a light brown head. slightly almost metallic aroma, dark caramel, syrup, faint rye, faint roasted malts flavor is roasted malts, bitter nuts, smoked malts, bitter caramel, rye like sugary note, interesting nontraditional flavor - quite a lot of flavor for a 5% beer. not entirely to my liking - too herbal and caramelly bitter - but not boring and not cloying. not just named dark and look dark, there is some flavor to back up the dark color.
