From Heintich 3000, february 2023. Best before 04/24. Tasting this bottle, on sunday night, after an afternoon at Vennes and Ouchy. Classical smoked beer, brewed on the Bavarian way, smocked malt, bacon. For me, it was not too smocked, bitter.

Bottle online from Raynville. Pours clear amber chestnut with beige foam. It's a decent enough rauch but it's not at Schlenkerla levels. Light sweet smoky malts, smoky bacon, moderate bitterness, thin to medium body

Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Clear light golden. Smoke, sugar, doughy, grassy hops, ash, light zesty, honey. Quite sweet, light bitter. Over medium bodied. Not too smoky but quite sweet. Meh.

50 cl bottle at Landbierparadies, Nuremberg.Medium white head . Amazing retention. Good lacing. Malts and smoke salmon aroma. Malty body with some smoke notes. Smooth texture. Lively carbo.Too sweet for a Rauch

Bottle at home. Pours semi clear golden with a white head. Nose and aroma are honey, bread, smoke and light hoppy touches, somewhat herbal. Light bodied with a crisp, bubbly carbonation.

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso resta attratto dall'affumicato. L'intensità olfattiva è elevata e la maniera in cui permane è apprezzabile e pregevole. Il mantello birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma dalla buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. Bollicine fini costituiscono anche la forma della frizzantezza, con carbonazione persistente ed insistita. Il colore è giallo dorato carico. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è nella media e si prolunga in modo sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. In bocca l'aroma è quello di caramello, miele, frutta secca, affumicato e pane tostato.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Firmly smoked aroma with smoked meat, grainy malt, some caramel. Flavour is fairly sweet with a light bitterness. Body is medium. Pretty in your face smoke at first, but then the grainy malt surfaces. On the sweet side. Not Schlenkerla quality, but good.
