Cutting Tiles is an exploratory series of Double IPAs featuring a range of aromatic single hop varietals brewed with raw local wildflower honey. This version is dosed with 100% Mosaic in all kettle, whirlpool and a massive dry hop addition. The honey keeps the body light and drinkable but provides an earthy backbone. Juicy, candied peach and nectarine up front backed up with a nuanced white wine on the nose that continues straight through in the flavor profile. Pillowy soft mouthfeel, with a restrained bitterness on the finish.

Can at home, from J and B Craft Drinks, Amsterdam, 23rd December 24. Pours a lightly hazy orange yellow. Aroma is citrus and tropical fruits, taste is zesty, citrus and moderately bitter, smooth and drinks easy, but it’s not outstanding by todays standards, just a decent DIPA

very hazy, amazing tangerines, grapefruit with stone fruit. Super dank juicy and tons of stone fruit. Super well balanced. Medium carbonation. No alcohol. Just brilliant. Perfect condition.

16 ounce can from the Canton brewery. 8.5% ABV. Hazy, orange gold color. Small pillowy white head. Aroma of orange, passion fruit and honey. Flavor is sweet and juicy. Sweet peach, tangerine, papaya and lemon. Some earthiness in middle from the honey. Dries out a bit on the backend. Outstanding.

Hazy medium orange body, medium pillowy cream head. Aroma a blend of citrus, tropical fruit, and catty notes. Body creamy and soft with floral, catty, dank, piny notes and grapeskin accentuating a peachy backdrop. Nice.

Can sourced from addicted2craftbeer.eu and drunk at home (08/04/2022) - very hazy dark yellow to orange with a white head. Lovely mosaic hopped brew, getting lots of mango and tangerine, papaya, just a light blueberry interplay but getting the pleasing sweet wildflower honey seeping in, soft sweetish malty backbone, big bold floral grassy hoppy balanced bitter finish. Lovely.

Can from Tfontana, thanks for the opportunity! Hazy medium straw in color with a thin bubbly white head that persists. Earthy grassy with sweet bready honey maltiness and a ton of citrus and tropical fruits. Tasty.

The honey is an excellent compliment to the Mosaic. Lovely.

Can (9/7/20) pour from the Fort Point brewery. Appearance is opaque orange juice with tons of sparkle at the edges of the glass, finger-width white foamy head with good retention and light soapy lacing. Aroma is very strong musky herbs, background floral and fruity. Taste is strong arm-pitty musky herb, sweet stone fruit (and honey?), grapefruit. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with thick texture, lively carbonation and dry finish as taste with very mild bitterness. Overall, much more herbal than I was expecting but strong and with sweet fruit/honey (better balanced in taste than aroma) as well. Too carbonated.
