0.33 l bottle thanks to Marko, shared with Veceo and Marko. Dark, medium beige head. Aroma is intense caramely, buttery, beet, slightly toasty and fruity. Intense burnt, roasty flavour. Unbalanced. Smooth. Nutty. Some sweetness. Light finish. Messy.

Bottle from Tesco, Guildford. This particular branch had a lot in its world food aisle, presumably as it's near the uni residences. Aroma is rich and malty. Earthy. Fungus. Nougat. Dark. Fluffy foamy beige head. Abrupt sweet sour berry edged intro, before liquorice and coffee bitterness sweeps in. Malty hickory earthy edge. Funghi-esque streak. As I imbibe a sweet molasses streak asserts itself. The bitterness really gains traction. Light-medium bodied. Well... wants to be slick but there's a grainy mouthfeel. Fizzy carbonation. Long slightly astringent finish. For a macro offering it packs a punch but I am also not overly keen... perhaps it's the sorgam?
