Nigeria - no shame in going out against the eventual runners-up on penalties. Another fun, high energy African side to watch this World Cup. I was so elated to finally find the Nigerian brew in the UK, but I don’t think it’s as good as the international.

0.33 l bottle thanks to Marko, shared with Veceo and Marko. Dark, medium beige head. Aroma is intense caramely, buttery, beet, slightly toasty and fruity. Intense burnt, roasty flavour. Unbalanced. Smooth. Nutty. Some sweetness. Light finish. Messy.

gefunden in einem zwielichtigen Telefon-in-alle-Welt-Inder-Geschäft am Wiener Gürtel. Ich habe schon einemal gehört, dass für Afrika ein eigenes Guinness gebraut wird, aber dass man es auch in unseren Breiten so einfach bekommt war mir nicht bewusst. Es schmeckt tatsächlich anders als das irische Original, allerdings nicht wirklcih besser. Die Süße ist stärker ausgeprägt und dafür der Kakao- und Kaffeegeschmack weniger intensiv -vielleicht braucht das Bier diese Aromen in Afrika nicht so sehr, weil das Zeug dort sowieso slbst wächst. Man kann es gerne probieren, aber das Original schmeckt mir besser.
