Oude Geuze Boon Black Label is the driest gueuze we've ever made. Combining a full-bodied taste with nearly 100% fermentation degree was a big challenge. This gueuze has a clear golden body with lively carbonation, balanced sourness and flavors of green apple and grapefruit. This is finished off with a long bone-dry aftertaste. The Lambics used for this blend have aged for 1, 2, and 3 years on oak casks. Brewed in Lembeek, the village that gave Lambic its name.

Bottle from Holiday Market shared at Kriekmas 2022. Pours a clear honey gold with a full, fluffy, eggshell colored head that lingers. Notes of oak, vanilla, horseblanket and dried honey. More of the same on the palate. Nice effervescent carbonation throughout. A slight sweetness, but nice minerality and carbonation that lingers. Delicious!

0,75l bottle at home. BB 5/9/2036. exploded in my face. yellow hazy color, rather big white head. smells tobacco, funky, earthy, cheesy, some oak. very nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes funky, tobacco, honey, flowery, stone fruits, some ripe fruits, hay, some wood, oak, light sherry. finishes lightly sour with notes of stone fruits, hay and some funk. good stuff, rather heavy for a geuze, especially once it warms, liked the 1st batch better, but this is very nice.

Super carby but super tasty. Fuck you John V. or whatever your name was. Your stupid comment is stuck in my head asshole. Lots less carb and a tiny bit more body and it's basically near A&G levels of good. I want to drink this faster but gdamn bubbles.

Tasted as part of the gueuze tasting led by H.ertie. Example of a well made, finished blend. High on the carbonation, again, but the flavours are well balanced. Nice sourness, pretty dry but with a hint of citrussy sweetness, and some nice bretty straw.
