33 cl bottle @ home. Brown color with a red hue, hazy/cloudy. Overfoaming, huge off white to beige head - needed several (large!) glasses to pour the bottle. Aroma’s: sweet, sugarry, sweet red fruit. Additionally spice/herb and some fruitiness retronasal. Flavor is only lightly sweet, caramel, lightly bitter, roasted. Medium bodied. Finishes rather bitter, earthy. Bit weird, but OK.

Slight hazy light brown with enormous off-white head. Citrus, roasted grains, chestnuts, bitter herbal notes, spices and some wood. Taste is quite bitter with light sweetness. Quite nice but way over carbonated. Like the chestnuts and hop though.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes oranges Bier mit sehr viel Schaum. Geruch leicht fruchtig, hopfig, Gewürze. Geschmack getreidig, fruchtig, leicht scharf, Gewürze, leicht röstmalzig.

Bottled, batch 2013-11-8, large sample. Gusher. Hazy copper color, huge rocky off-white head. Aroma of slight burned malts, hint of roast, licorice, bit earthy hops indeed, bit spicy yeast. In flavor much more nutty notes, bit spicy, hint of licorice, bit sweet, bit bitter. The chestnuts seem to come through much more in taste than in aroma, but when tasting it I get more of it in aroma as well. A bit too high on carbonation. Pairing together with a nutty goatcheese, which is a wonderful combination. Quite nice.
