Fearless Gold Wax is a blend of some of the oldest barrels in the building. These barrels moved to closed puncheons and were eventually blended together to make a bright, tart, slightly funky golden wild ale.

Bottle with gold wax shared at Ascension. Thanks Adam! Pours a mostly clear gold with full finger of white foam that dissipates. Lovely funky, horseblanket nose with some funky cheese, pear and fig aromas. Crisp and clean on the palate with dried honey, wet hay and more bleu cheese flavors. Dried pear, mineral and light yogurt notes on the finish. Nice underlying tartness but not too overly acidic. --- Beer merged from original tick of Fearless (Batch #7) on 01 Dec 2019 at 20:10 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7.5.
