(Can) Pours hazy amber with small white head. Subtle pleasant aroma of tropical fruit and orange with biscuit hints. Excellent mouthfeel. Medium to full body, smooth, with plenty of fine carbonation. Taste is hop dominated with a steadily growing bitterness, bit nicely balance with biscuit malt and a tangy fruity start. Lots going on in the taste. Very good.

Gifted can tried at home. Slight hazed deep golden colour with a white head. Aroma and taste are malty citrus and tropical. Bittersweet. Smooth body.

Aromas of caramel, biscuit, stonefruit and citrus come together really nicely. It's slightly rough in the mouth, with the alcohol a bit too prominent and pine dominating the other flavours. Nice enough to drink, but I think I'd prefer to just sniff it!

Tap at Catfish last month. Amber. Lovely pine nose with some biscuit. Add in floral and citrus flavours and this makes for a full-bodied and balanced double IPA. Just very well done (although I seem to recall the previous batch having more oomph)

From a 375ml can on 2/3/2018. Pours a clearish deep golden with a biggish head which disappears quickly. The nose is primarily tropical fruit. Taste wise, there's some biscuit malt, peach apricot, passionfruit and mango with some moderate to firm, slightly resiny hops. Fullish body with average carbonation. Passable but a bit muted and certainly lacking punch, definition and character when one considers the style.

[5/17] Bottled April 20. Quarterly releases are a good idea, as is being able to pay by multipass. Almost clear amber with a white head that settles to a cm or so. Powerful bitter orange aroma with bread/ biscuit, some passionfruit, grapefruit. Quite light bodied with moderate carbonation. Enough malt presence despite the relatively light body to support the fruity and somewhat resinous hops without seeming to harsh, yet the finishing bitterness comes through nicely. Very clean, punchy. I liked it, but maybe doesn’t quite offer enough for its strength.[6/17] Tap. Punchy indeed, just short of abrasive at the end. Dangerous.

On tap at the Local Taphouse Darlinghurst. Pours orange brown. Big tart blood orange, pepper, pine, something floral. Long bitter finish, not much alcohol noticeable. Very nice.
