Can. Cloudy, amber in color with hardly any head. Aroma was kind of boozy with a slight fruit cake smell. Taste is kind of sweet and bourbon barrel.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Malty aroma with rich bourbon, caramel, oak, notes of toffee and raisins. Some vanilla from the barrel, dried fruits. Above medium body, sweet and slightly boozy. Good stuff.

I'm pouring from a 12 oz can into my ABGB snifter here on a mid-winter late afternoon, time for a toddy or a beer that tastes like one. The view is a dark caramel-amber with a bare skim of taupe foam. The smell is grain and dark fruit. But the taste is more distinct and appealing. Malt, dark plums, booze, oak, sorghum and just a bit of candied orange. Yes, it does taste similar to a cocktail while being a beer of some kind. Interesting

330ml can from the Beer Bank, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy dark brown colour with a lasting frothy off-white head. The aroma is oaky boozy bourbon. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a crisp, dry, oaky, red berry fruit, warm, boozy alcohol bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. The aroma was very inviting but the taste and finish were a disappointment.

Alles ist besser aus Bourbon Fässern - absolut alles! Vor allem Bourbon, aber natürlich auch Bier. Dieses hier besonders. Dazu Vanille, Malz, süffig süß, gefährlich gut trinkbar, sehr lecker.

From a 355ml can on 18/2/2021. Pours a cloudy deep amber with a small head. The nose features a big whiff of bourbon with some fruit cake and caramel in the mix. The flavour is both intense and complex - more fruit cake and caramel, cherries, toast, nuts, spice and a touch of vanilla. Finishes with a sharpish bitterness featuring some light notes of lime, grapefruit and warming bourbon. The mouthfeel is slick and syrupy, the carbonation moderate. Excellent beer with lovely balance.

12 oz. can, pours a murky deep dark mahogany with a small off-white head. Aroma is very malty, with heaps of bourbon upfront, followed by caramel, and bready malt. Flavour is likewise a big bourbon bomb, with lots of caramel, bready malt, and a bit of spices. Really nice bourbon and caramel character. Excellent.

Pours a murky brown colour and a dense light beige head with good retention. Aroma's: buttery, vanilla. Retronasal there's more to it: bourbon, vanilla, sweetish, buttery, some red fruit. Flavour is moderate sweet, vanilla, buttery. Under medium bodied. Long finish, a bit woody and buttery. Not bad.

Brown with a thick tan head. Aroma of oak, orange, nettles, bourbon, malt, caramel and butterscotch. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
