Bottle. Hazy orange color with white head. Aroma is resinous, caramel, berries. Taste is caramel, resinous, medicinal bitter finish. Sticky mouthfeel with medoum carbonation. Alright.

Bottle, danke Günther & Max. Cloudy orange, low golden head. Spicy treacle, raisin, Meaty, marmite, light roast. Medium full body, dry sweet, candied orange peel, good hop backstop, dry earthy bitter, pleasant aromatics retronasal.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, dark amber colour with average to huge, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Mellow malty and slightly leafy, hoppy aroma, hints of rose hip, hibiscus, a touch of lemon tea, grapefruit, marmalade, red currant, some toffee in the baqckground. Taste is mellow malty, slightly citrusy and leafy hoppy, hints of toffee, some lemon, grapefruit, lemon tea, hibiscus, rose hip. Not bad.

Ampulla: Not completely clear, copper coloured, small but stable off-white foamy layer, moderate to solid sweet-bitter fruity and toasty nose with english hops underneath and mild traces of alcohol; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied, a bit tart; lingering sweet-bitter fruity and malty finish, increasing dryness in the hoppy aftertaste. Astonishingly good...
