Bottle at home bought at the brewery. Browny red dark amber colour, small white head. Aroma is weird, smells a bit like our cat toilet, but in a nice way. Lots of wood, something vinous, bit of sourness. Fruity too, and a bit musty. Taste, nice and sour, some faro like sweetness. Fruit, bit of lemon, bit of grapefruit, vinous. Rising sourness. Some maltiness too. Quite unusual and pretty nice. Usual Cantillon sour spritz kick. 2002 bottled. Reddish pink color, firm head. Typical Cantillon aroma. Oak, lemon and sone honey. A hint of grapes, but certainly not very apparent. The grapes are really there in the flavor. Rubber, oak, and grapefruit. Honey, some yoghurt. A gentle sourness in a fine lambic with a vinous character. Not the best Cantillon there is, but still a great beer. nov 2012 bottle, tasted July 2014. Red color. Grapes, grape peels, citrus and oak on the aroma. Well rounded sour flavor with grapes, remaining tannines, oak, grapefruit. The complexity is there, the fruit is there. Great beer.

Bottle. Bottled 07 november 2018, 7.5%. Finally got the chance to taste this beer, thanks to Bierhandel Willems en Zoon in Grobbendonk. Color: Bit hazy pinkish red, pink head. Aroma: Moderate tart grapes, Brett funk, leather. Taste: Moderate sweet and sour, tart red grapes, grapeskin, subtle Brett barnyard funk and leather. Some wood, oak tannins. Hints of other red fruits. Very light bitterness. Pretty smooth dry-ish and lightly astringent mouthfeel. Medium to over medium body, below average carbonation. Very nicely balanced, some complexity. Great.

Draught, half pint. Tasted on the 16/03/2019 at Biercab (Barcelona, Spain). Light purple colour with a low white head. Aroma is red grapes, tannins, oak and light barnyard. Taste is vinous, with a predominance of red grapes and oak barrels, followed by a funky tart finish. Light acidity. Extremely well balanced. Smooth and pleasant aftertaste. Next one please!
