Anna (1902-1993) was our grandfather’s sister; Hill Farmstead Brewery rest upon the land that was once home to her and her 13 siblings. In her honor, this honey Farmstead® ale is crafted from American malted barley, European and American hops, Vermont wildflower honey, our distinctive farmhouse yeast and water from our well. Unfiltered and naturally carbonated, this is the ale that I dream to have shared with Anna.

On tap at BrewDog Tower Hill. Hazy gold colour lasting white head. Proper manure funky sour. Sour lemon in the mouth. Hippy finish. As authentic as it gets. I would swear this was from Payottenland. There is no higher praise. Pretty much amazing. Can I drink this everyday please? Just gorgeous lemon. I love it when a beer lives up to the reputation and expectation. Lemon herb farmyard. Perfect sourness. Boy that's good.

Draught, taster. Sampled on the 27/10/2018 at "Mash Beer Festival 2018", Barcelona (Spain). Hazy light yellow straw colour with a small lingering white head. Aroma is peach, yeast, light floral hops and red apples. Taste is intense funky yeast, citrus and malts. Resinous and yeasty finish with a medium citrusy touch. Well balanced. Next one please!

Flaska från Mikkeller bottleshop, från tidigt 2017. Tack Smauel214. Pyser över något när vi öppnar flaskan. Blekgul/guldig med högt vitt skum. Vete, brett, citrus, yuzu. Stram och sträv med lite stalliga toner, omogna äpplen, päron, gröna druvor och ganska stora drag av druvskal. Jästig och lätt estrig/bananig. Mycket gott.

Bottle thanks to my buddy Keith! Poured a golden with hazy white. Funky nose, barn yard, straw. Taste is barn yard funky, straw, with fruit that lingers.

75cl Bottle. Hazy pale golden yellow colour, white head. Aroma is funky, light acidic, lemon juice, light yeasty. Flavour is crisp, dry, funky, lemon, light sour, floral, light bitter finish. Light bodied. Tasty.

On tap at Arrogant Sour Festival 2018. Cloudy golden, large white head. Funk, citrus, some lemon, vague honey, smooth, soft texture. Moderate tartness. Nice and subtle. Medium bodied.

750ml bottle in garden, bought in Paris, consumed 25th July 18. Pours straw colour with haze. Aroma is light funk, lemon, brett. Taste is tart, lemon, lime, sherbert, funk, yeast, Brett, dry and bright. Perfect for the hot English summer. Great stuff
