Hopzilla is a monster of an IPA that will make you pucker up! Loaded with high-alpha U.S. grown hops, this brawny dry hopped ale will terrorize your taste buds, yet has enough malt backbone to balance a fierce bitterness.

Bottle @ Gregβs palace courtesy of JBPortland. Thanks Josh! Pours a bit hazy yellow orange appearance with a cream colored head. Huge grapefruit creamy, mango, pineapple, a bit dank aroma. A bit sweet and somewhat goopy malty but full of candy, pineapple, mango, and other tropical fruits. A bit strong on the booze on the finish but enjoyable. Cheers Until Next Time!

22 oz. bottle, sent from Glouglouburp (thanks so much, Dany!), pours a beautiful mostly clear dark golden with a small white head. Nose is full-on piney hops, coniferous tree, and resin, with little malt backbone. Flavour brings out loads of dry coniferous, loads of piney and resinous hops, light citrus and grapefruit notes, and a light toasted malt backbone that only provides support to the hops. Refreshing fruity notes along with dry piney hops linger on the mouthfeel, almost providing a puckering tartness but it's really just the dry fruitiness. Amazingly complex for a IIPA with very high drinkability. Awesome stuff.

22oz bottle pours a slightly hazy orange with a sudsy white head. Nose of pine needles, perfume, grapefruit zest, orange zest, key limes, scallions. Flavor is sweet, spicy, garlic, scallion, very oniony, lime, grapefruit zest. Full, bitter, zesty finish.

From the bottle into a Hill Farmstead glass. Fridge temperature. Appearance is a hazy and cloudy dark gold. 1 finger head that faded instantly. Scent is great. Lots of american hops. I get Simcoe and Cascade. Smells nice and piney. Taste is also awesome. Itβs an incredibly chewy and thick bitterness. Very bitter, lots of pine resin and pine needle. Hint of grapefruit and thick woody finish.

Bottle shared by Kyle, thanks! Poured a cloudy orange with a white head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma had a beautiful dank pine note with a bit of marijuana and sweet grains underlying. Flavor had the same dank pine note with some grass, weed and a nice grain backbone.
