330ml brown glass bottle from Piotr i Pawel Supermarket in Radom, some years ago. Laqdna zdobiona i grawerowana butelka, z firmowym kapslem, piwo ma ciemna barwe, karmelowo pieczony harakter. Cola ale zytnia, slodkie, za duzo gazu. Ale posmak palonego zytniego chleba zostaje w ustach.

1.5l PET bottle in Vilnius. Smooth malty beginning. Round, not too sweet with a nice malty body. Not too much sourness, smooth malty, caramel with burned sugars in the aftertaste, nice.

50cl can from Vilnius Airport. Pours hazy brown with a tanned head. Bready aroma with raisins, some caramel and hints of spices. Sweet and bready with some fruity notes and a hint of acidity. Nothing I would drink instead of beer, but an excellent energy drink (just as vørterøl).

Slight hazy reddish brown with small orangy-brown head. Raisisn, red fruit, lots of caramel, some notes of mold and rotting fruit. Also quite spicy with christmas bread and glühwein. Very sweet with some sour notes. Wow this is some strange stuff, I just randomly bought this can and don’t really know what to think of it. It has some good notes, but it’s also very sweet and has that weird rotten/moldy taste too. Not my thing.

50 cl. can sampled. Procured from Anna Maria. Dark red bread, normal fizzing away kvass head. Sweet sticky syrupy dark bread and lots of raisins nose, thick brown sugar. Very sweet raisin bread taste, dark bread, very sweet both brown & artificial sugar. Pretty nice, I do not think that kvass can ever be optimal canned or preserved as opposed to the real stuff which doesn’t keep but this was pretty nice, not overly artificial & quite different from what I get from most kvass that I pick up.

Can at MrHangover’s Niewjaarsborrel. Poured a hazy dark brown with no life at all. The aroma is sweet fruit and caramel. The flavour is strong sweet with a big toffee caramel palate. Truly awful. Way too sweet for me.
