dHop8 is one of our most ambitious experiments to date. We created a parameter space to maximize organoleptic hop oils in the glass. As a result of this very interesting process, this Citra/Amarillo DIPA is naturally carbonated from refermentation of sugars during dry hopping. This is a first for Equilibrium (and is what we expected). Dhop8 is packed with hop oils and pours a very hazy tangerine releasing notes of intense citrus, zest, orange/pineapple, and sweetarts. This process produces a uniquely velvety and full mouthfeel with a flavor that follows the aroma. We will certainly be experimenting more with this technique and potentially make it standard with several of our hoppy offerings moving forward.

Draught @ the Sampler. Juicy bright yellow with small foamy whitish head, mango-citrus aroma, low carbonation, mildly bitter citrus juice taste with a hint of mango, smooth body, long citrus-mango finish. Very well balanced and delicious.

Pours a very hazy, banana-yellow, with good-sized and lasting head. Aroma is very, very fruity, with loads of citrus and tropical fruit. It actually smells something like an Orange Julius! Flavor is also very fruity, largely citrus, almost verging on sour (the sweetart element?). Lots of zesty citrus flavor in this, with a touch of pine/spruce hops in the finish. I liked it a lot.

Draft at B Side. Poured a hazy light yellow-orange color with a small slightly off white head. Aroma was very aromatic floral and tropical hops. Taste is of the tropics. Really nice light citrus. Alcohol is well masked.

Keg at hop city 2018. A translucent golden orange coloured pour with a sticky white head. Aroma is nice juicy. Pineapple, tangy, pulped mango, wheat. Flavour is composed of juicy, wheat, pineapple mango, super juicy. Palate is soft, rounded light tang, frorhy carbonation. Really nice.

Draught @ Hop City 2018, Leeds. Exotic fruity and dry with hints of tropical notes and tartish zesty grapefruit. Quite untypical NEIPA.

4 oz pour on draft at ChurchKey. Hazy yellowish orange with off-white head. Aromas of pineapple, tropical fruit, citrus. Tastes of pineapple, tropical fruit, citrus, floral notes, pine. Medium body with a dry finish. Delicious.
