This brown ale has a marked ruby brown colour with a gen-erous and lasting head. It has a distinctive aroma reflecting the wide range of ingredients used in its production. The fruitiness resulting from its fermentation blends harmoni-ously with a dominant liquorice and caramel flavour. The body is decidedly malty. The bitterness is the result of a complex alchemy between the fine hops and special malts used. These give St-Feuillien Brune a typical dark chocolate appearance. This beer creates an endless variety of sensations with a lingering taste and powerful aroma.

Roodbruin bier met veel schuim. Smaak is bitter hoppig en licht zoetzuur met iets van drop, anijs, koffie en chocolade.

(ripe bottle, 33cl) Hazy, dark amber to brown colour with a big and beige foamy head. Yeasty, dried berry-fruity aroma with a mildly vinous touch, backed by caramel malt and hints of sugar. Moderately sweet and delicately sour-tart flavour, medium bodied with a moderate, even a bit fizzy carbonation. Dark malt character with a whiff of caramel, accompanied by dried fruity notes; moderately sweet finish with dried fruits, raisins, figs and a muted alcoholic strength. Okay-ish Brune, not to be overrated. 27.XI.15

BOTTLE 33 CL. Cloudy red-brown, big beige head. Classic dubbel aroma - dried fruit, light toast an some cooked corn/DMS. The taste is quite sweet, fruity with spicy notes and some warming alcohol too. Light bitter finish. Quite good.

A dark brown, a head is quite big and beige. Aroma has mix of dried, dark fruits and fresh fruits, spicyness and typical strong aromatic notes of St. Feuillen, hint of anise. Taste has dried fruits, anise, some spicyness. Medium bodied, high carbonation, even too much. Typical, aromatic notes of brewer are there, interesting dubbel.

Deep amber hue. Rocky tan head. Aroma is orange blossom, honey and bread. Full bodied, well structured. Starts sweet, then grows slightly bitter. Long finish. Very nice.
