We’ve gone through great lengths to refine the process to yield a Rich and Creamy Flavor and mouth feel to show case the decadent flavors yet leave the harsh taste that dark grains can often leave behind. Incredible mouthfeel yet not cloyingly sweet to aid in its drinkability.

Poured from a can into a becher pint

Pours the deepest brown black with about a half finger of tight medium tan head that hangs around leaving slick lacing.

Aroma of roasted malt moving into caramel and coffee melding into a sweeter Hershey's special dark chocolate, a touch of dark fruity water hiding in the background.

Taste opens up with for mentioned caramel/molasses into smooth coffee, big notes of the semi sweet dark chocolate, rich and complex flavors with a bit of char that lends a bit of drying bitterness. Rather complex

Medium full bodied, light carbonation, roast and char balance any sweet character nicely. Super smooth and creamy with a mouth watering finish.

Overall this is a wicked good porter. Rich, smooth and complex while retaining its drinkability. Rides the line between a sipper and sessionable brew. I'd gladly reach for this anytime I'm looking for a smooth porter.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to English pint glass.
Appearance: dark brown close to black in color with a two finger dark tan foamy head which dissipated slowly to leave some light lace
Aroma: dark roasted malts, sweet coffee, some milk chocolate, dark chocolate, coffee roast and a touch of earthy character
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a nice sweet to roasty character with an underscore of mild bitterness; finishes leaning into some malty bitterness with some coffee roast
Texure: light to medium bodied, sessionable; good smoothness and a touch of some bitterness nicking at the tongue ever so slightly
Overall: pretty nicely done porter I would return to.

Can from One Stop Market. Inky, opaque black, thin cap of head quickly fading to a ring, nice sparkle, light viscosity, trace lacing. Aroma is strong roasted malt over milder bitter chocolate and coffee with spice (cinnamon?). Taste is strong roasted malt, molasses, late hints of bitter chocolate and coffee (mostly in finish). Smooth, thick texture, medium bodied, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Good complexity and excellent strength of both aroma and taste. Very nice.

Canned. Holy shit this is good. Opaque pour, silky oily dark chocolate. Light coffee and cream. Boozy but not overpowered.

(Draft at Beer Temple, Amsterdam, 23 Feb 2025) Black colour with foamy, beige head. Malty, roasted taste with coffee, dark chocolate and liquorice. Malty, roasted taste with notes of black coffee, dark chocolate, cacao, sweet liquorice, dark bread and a balanced coffee bitterness. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. Rich and well made porter. Very nice.
