Handcrafted at the tiny All Saints Brewery set in a time warp in Stamford using the old manually operated brewing equipment. Finest organically grown barley and wheat are used to create a complex ale which, having undergone primary and secondary fermentation with different yeasts and extended maturation, is taken to Samuel Smith’s small, independent British brewery at Tadcaster. There it is blended with pure organic cherry, strawberry, raspberry or apricot fruit juices and more organic beer to create fruit beers of considerable strength and flavour. The smooth distinctive character of the matured beer serves as the perfect counterpoint to the pure organic fruit juice.

Bottle. Red-brown pour with a mild, white head. Pure raspberry aroma. Flavor is very sweet and fruity like a raspberry puree, with light tartness and some earthy malts and faint bitterness. Light to medium in body with fizzy carbonation. Finishes sweet and fruity with lingering raspberry. Very nice beer.

Raspberry nose, good strength. Cloudy garnet brown, medium pink head, good lacing. Tart, then bitter, never all that sweet. Not beery, and not exactly soda pop either. Most like raspberry soda pop that has been diluted with seltzer.

550 mL bottle form Whole Foods Market, Charlottesville, VA, opened 9/5/10. Pours a hazy dark red color with a large offwhite head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of raspberries with a floral note. The taste is tart raspberries, almost bitter, with some pale malts and green apple. Medium bodied. Nice and tart throughout.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin brown beer. The aroma has strong notes of raspberries. The flavor is sweet with notes raspberries, as well as light notes of lemon and malt, leading to a lightly tart raspberry finish.

An English brewery I always like to see at the LCBO. After having a few weak fruit beers from "Les Frères Houblons", I was expecting something good from this one. Pours a dark red colour with a rich red-pink creamy head that has good retention and beautiful lace. A full raspberry nose is felt, with the great fruit juice. Lightly bodied which makes this one quite refreshing. Does not seem weird (different) like most organic brews I have tastes. Some nice sweetness with the juice and a little sourness in the finish. A very well-balanced organic raspberry fruit beer.
