Cette Belgoo joue la carte des céréales : orge, froment, avoine et épeautre rentrent dans la recette. Maîtrise moyenne cependant du brassage avec une acidité trop présente qui ne permet pas aux arômes de se développer suffisamment. Oh, notre Magus n'en est pas déplaisante pour autant, met aucune passion n'en ressort vraiment. On la boit avant de l'oublier rapidement. Robe blond doré limpide avec une mousse blanche stable à 5 mm, l'effervescence y est moyenne. Le nez est intéressant : citron, coriandre, abricot, banane avec une touche herbacée. On retrouvera d'ailleurs ces arômes à la dégustation, et ce dès l'attaque, acidulée présentant miel, banane, abricot rehaussés quelque peu par de la coriandre et du poivre. Mais l'acidité ne permet pas d'atteindre un quelconque équilibre et sera un frein tout au long de la dégustation qui est relativement linéaire. La deuxième bouche d'ailleurs ne monte que légèrement sur l'amertume (IBU peu élevé à 20) avec des arômes d'agrumes, mais présente une touche d'âpreté certaine. L'alcool, à 6,6 % Abv joue tant bien que mal son rôle. L'arrière bouche quant à elle n'apporte rien du tout et la troisième bouche, une amertume légèrement herbacée. Quant au final, il a fui....Difficile d'être dithyrambique.

33cl bottle. Pours slightly hazy golden colour with a mid-sized most good lasting off-white head. aroma of sweet banana, mango, belgian yeast. Taste of banana, tropical fruits, yeast, interesting!

Pours hazy dark golden/yellow with a foamy, lasting, minimal, white head. The aroma contains grain, hay, yeast, wheat, citrus, orange and spices. It tastes light bitter and light sweet with a light dry finish. Medium body, watery texture but quenching, soft carbonation. Plain good.

F: big, almost white, good retention. C: gold, hazy. A: banana, red apple, strawberries, coriander, hint of yeasty. T: malt, banana, light citrus sour, coriander, bready, hint of earthy, medium body, medium carbonation, mineral, not very sweet and interesting balanced beer, 0,33l bottle from Carrefour market - Saint-Michel @ Etterbeek, Brussels.

Bottle. Hazy yellow color with good white foam Aroma: pear, spice, malt, a little other fruit, coriander. Taste: yeast with a light acidity, a little white wine, wine, fruit and pear, malty, a little hoppy.

BOTTEL 33 CL. Hazy golden, white head. Aroma and taste: ripe apricot, sweet citrus, light spicy and earthy bitterness. Clean, no cardboard or other witbier-esque off-flavours. A good one.

Bottle shared at home. A bit hazy golden with big white head that doesn’t last too long. Milky, lots of raw grain, white bread, potatoes, rye bread, lemon, lemon balm, cake, light grassy. Under medium sweet and light sour with a sour/bitter finish. Medium bodied with a bit creamy feel and fizzy carbonation. Not bad but a bit too milky for me.

Botella 33 cl tomada en el Lupulo enero 2009. (r246). Fcpref 06..03..2010. belga sin muchos recuerdos. Bastante normal con 6.6 vol.

Clear golden pour with a nice white head. Smells of herbal hops, yeast, lemon zest and honey. Tastes of honey, lemon, white bread, bananas. Refreshing and delicious.
