Very strong aroma of grapefruit and floral hops. Flavour has lots of fruity citrus notes. It’s very dry and bitter.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus. Hazy slightly pale orange color, medium to full sized creamy off-white head that lasts for a decent while and leaves fair to good lacing. Aroma is malts, hops, oranges and lightly mandarin. Taste malts, hops, tangerine, orange, bitter, some fruitpeel bitter, a hint of orangepeel especially in the aftertaste. Medium to full body, firm fizzy carbonation. Not bad at all, but the fizzy carbonation and the fruitpeel / orangepeel bitterness annoy me.

Bottle shared thanks to Deanso. Pours almost clear golden brown with an off white head. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, pine, fruity hops, orange peel and caramel malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

Decent all around double, but rather pedestrian. No sign of the high ABV though, which is nice. Lingering pine/citrus hop finish

Poured from the tap. Cloudy yellow with minimal white head. Citrus hop aroma. A bit of yeast and grassy hops in the flavour, seems a bit muted overall.

Fruity, lightly spicy, blonde...the strength is quite evident, good balance though, clean pale malts, citrus, bitterness, just a nice balanced example.

The appearance has a hazy golden orange somewhat brown body with a half finger’s worth of foamy head that concaves a bit into the body.
The smell has a malty sweet yet light citrus trying to burst through. It stays a bit backward throughout the beer for the most part.
The taste is mainly sweet with a stronger breadier note to the flavoring and more of a grapefruit/lemon-ness comes out as it warms. There is a strong grapefruit aftertaste with a quick citrus somewhat dry finish.
On the palate, she sits about a medium on the body, comes across fairly sessionable. Carbonation seems to be good for the style and good for me.
Overall, this is a good DIPA that I would have again, nothing to scream about, but definitely worth having again.
