Reviewed from notes.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: thick yellow opaque color with a finger and a half's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: some peppercorn, earthy tones, citrusy whiffs, subtle wheat & a little bit of the floral to slightly spicy side of rye
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a fair spicy to sweet quality; finishes in the same manner in a lingering sort of way
Texture: light to medium bodied, somewhat sessionable; light smoothness but also some sharp aspects from either the rye notes or the peppercorn or possibly a combination of both - but nothing overbearing
Overall: quite a nice saison well worthy of returning to.

Draught @ Milk and Hops - Astor. Milky bright yellow with small frothy whitish head, faint fruity aroma, medium carbonation, earthy taste with citrus flavor, smooth body, long earthy finish. Interesting saison with strong hops notes.
